Peace on Earth Begins with Birth
I first saw the words “Peace on Earth begins with Birth” when I was pregnant with my first baby, over 11 years ago. They were printed on a welcome tote from my midwives’ office, and I never forgot them.
I was about to become a mother, stepping into a completely new chapter, and those words stayed with me. They felt like a message for my future self - a reminder of what I was about to create, and why it mattered.
Babies arrive into this world open, soft, and deeply sensitive. Before they learn language, they feel energy. They feel touch. They feel safety.
I believe peace doesn’t start with grand gestures or loud movements. It starts quietly - in the way we hold our babies, speak to them, dress them, and surround them with intention. It starts with what we choose to pass on.
That belief is at the heart of everything I create for Hippie Baby Co.
Putting a message of peace on baby clothes isn’t about making a statement to the world. It’s about setting an intention.
When a baby wears a piece that carries a symbol of peace - whether it’s a gentle word, a mushroom, or a simple illustration - it becomes a quiet reminder to the adults around them too. To slow down. To soften. To choose kindness, even on hard days.
