10 Years of Hippie Baby Co

On August 1st, 2015, I opened a new Etsy shop and listed my very first baby outfit. I was nervous but excited… and then something magical happened - it sold that same day. That one order was all it took. It gave me the belief that maybe this little dream of mine could become something real.

The next order didn’t come until 30 days later - but honestly, that didn’t even matter. I was creating, dreaming, and following my heart.

At that time, I was working full-time as a dietitian and Hippie Baby Co was my beautiful creative experience on the side - about five years into this journey, I realized this is all I wanted to do. I had to make a decision - one that was kind of scary… but I went all in - I quit my job to pursue my passion.

I was following my dream of spreading beautiful messages to little ones (and everyone around them), making people smile, wonder, and connect with Mother Earth. That’s always been the goal.

This journey has been full of ups and downs - trying to find balance as a mom, a creative being, and a human doing her best to live mindfully and stay connected to nature.

Everything I’ve done, I’ve learned along the way - through trial and error, and deep breaths. And the truth is, I’m still learning. I’ll probably always be learning and figuring it out as I go, and I am totally ok with that.

Every piece I’ve shared over the years was made with intention - from the first pencil sketch, to carving the stamps, to printing each design by hand. The process is slow and soulful, and that’s how I love it. It lets me breathe life into every design and pour love into every package.
